Don’t Worry, Be Healthy.
Welcome to the Sown Life. My name is Susan Gleeson and I am happy that you are here.
I am a wife of over 30 years and a Mom of 5. I love hanging with my kids, date nights with my husband, coffee with friends, walks with my dogs, preparing good food and gardening in my bare feet. I thrive off the energy of being around others and love learning along side them.
I have been studying health and nutrition for about 30 years. I am a Certified Nutritional Counselor in Holistic Health and a Master Herbalist. I have my own Wellness practice where I am passionate about teaching others to listen to their own bodies, sustaining those bodies with what they need to thrive and learning to stand in worthiness right where they are!
Over the years, the world around us has taught us that we are acceptable if we fit into a certain weight category or resemble those models on the magazine covers. There is so much shame that lies there. We have forgotten that our bodies were made to create, to love, to embrace life to the fullest and to live with exuberance, passion and energy.
My practice is called Sown Life Wellness because everyday we choose what we sow into our lives. When we do the work of sowing fruitful seeds, slowing down to nurture our bodies, it is there we find Growth.
My hope for each client that enters my practice is that he/she will leave with the foundation and education they need to listen to and attend to their bodies needs, nurturing them so they can grow as an individual.
Blessings to you and thank you for visiting.

3rd Step To Wellness
Nutritional Counseling Session
These Sessions are a follow up to the Initial Health Consultation and this is where we do our work. They consist of counseling and education. My goal is that you can leave with the tools you need to continue your journey towards health.)
Susan was incredibly compassionate, encouraging, and knowledgeable, and gave clarity to my health problems. Her warm and caring personality came through right away, and made it easy to open up and have a conversation about what suggestions would work best for me. She even predicted most of the problems she thought were going on — and then had me get tests and see someone to confirm (yes, she was right!).
What I appreciated about Susan’s nutritional counseling was her accepting attitude towards me. It was refreshing to be able to share my less than virtuous nutrition habits and not be judged. I also liked how she staggered the advice she shared with me so I didn’t go into information overload in the first session. But it was great over a few sessions to get A LOT of information about what could help me and why – useful knowledge for the rest of my life.
