Travel Tips for Health

The biggest struggle for me when it comes to traveling is immunity. My body is very sensitive and when I am not on my normal schedule of eating, sleep and exercise my immunity is always compromised. While you are traveling it is very difficult to know what you will be eating and when so I have a few take a longs that help me immensely.

Snacks
I am borderline hypoglycemic so blood sugar stability is crucial to energy and mood. I always carry snacks. My favorites are raw nuts, dried fruit, smoothie mix packets, Rx bars, *nut butters, *Purely Elizabeth granola.
(*Both found in small packets at the local health food store)

Immune boosters
To keep my immunity strong while traveling I carry small green juice powder packets, Chaga mushroom powder for tea and also a variety of supplements; Vitamin D3, Vitamin C, Echinacea and Elderberry (in capsule form). I also take along some N-Acetyl Cysteine and Milk Thistle which are primary for liver health and is crucial for immunity. These not only help boost my immune system but also kill bacteria that is not welcome.

I am heading to Europe for 2 weeks and packing all these things! Wish me luck and here’s to all your travels in 2019!!
Cheers!!!
